Islam! We praise Allah the ONE GOD. We honor HIS love thought made
manifest Noble Drew Ali. Islam! Islam! Islam! Words can not express the
beautiful presence Governor Abdullah carried when I met him in the flesh
January of 2006. I think back to that moment and the words that describe him
best to me are Soldier, Faithful, Moabite and Leader. Just recently he
requested a picture of our seed, Zharia so that he could have one for himself.
We sent him a large photo of our little moabitess & he told myself & Imam
Rasul how pleased he was to recieve it. I trust that her photo brought a smile
within in his heart despite the pain he was physically in. I will miss the
Governor of course but in the midst of that emotion, I PRAISE Allah that the
Governor surely KNEW his GOD ALLAH, he KNEW His Holy Prophet Noble
Drew Ali, he KNEW he was a Moorish American Moslem and he loved his
Family and the Prophet. Governor Abdullah, I surely will miss your precense
but I pray that you will sail on smoother seas. May Allah be pleased with your
good and may you continue on your journey back to our Father God Allah!

                              Joy & Pain

When death comes and it will come to us all this
will be a day of Joy & Pain for our love ones and
friends that we leave behind, Islam!
I write this with a heavy but joyful heart for there is
a sadness because a true solider of Allah has
passed form. Everyday people may not
understand when we say death is not a enemy to
man. A true Moorish American Moslem knows that
man is not the body or the soul. The body is just a
place to house the spirit and will some day pass
away, but the spirit that connects us to the Creator
God Allah will never pass. The joy comes from
knowing that our Brother no longer has to deal
with the pain and the toils of this manifest
anymore, becaused Allah has called him home to
be with him. None of use know the day or the hour
when that call will come out to us. Our Prophet
was ordained by Allah and given Divine
instructions to set our path back to Allah. Governor
Abduallah Mohammed Bey chose that path and
walked it and lived everyday and for that, May Allah
be pleased. I will never forget you. Peace and
Love my Brother.

I first rise giving all Perfect Praise to ALLAH, Father of the Universe and Honors to
our Savior Prophet, Noble Drew Ali, Allah’s thought brought to life. Moorish
Honors to our N.G.S. Waleed Abdul Naeen Bey, Honors to our Grand Governor &
Chief of Ministers Dr. Ra Saadi El, Honors to our Grand Council of Governors
And honors to where honors are due

When thinking on Governor Abdullah Mohammed Bey what I remember is his
smiled that warmed up a room. We felt the presence of the Holy Breath in his
smile the first time we met Governor Abdullah. He was a gentle giant whom we
felt nothing but love from.
Many people will cross our path in our life time but not all will we remember.
Governor Abdullah is one of those persons who left footprints on our soul. We will
always remember him because of the warmth of his smile and his gentle and
compassionate spirit. He will be greatly missed but not in sorrow because when
Allah calls his soldiers home their jobs on this manifest has been completed.
We know death is not our enemy but only the cord that keeps us bound upon the
earth and the call of death is always for the best for we are solving problems
there as well as here.
Our lives have been greatly blessed and touched because of Governor Abdullah
and he will be remembered for all of his accomplishments, but I will remember
the warmth of his smiled.

DEATH IS NOT AN ENEMY

There’s a time to live
There’s a time to die
So why does man still question why
Death is not an enemy to man
But a pathway to lead us on through
Our life has been mapped and planned
For Allah has a job for us to do
Death is a friend and when it knocks
We know that our job down here is done
It cuts the final cord that kept us bound to earth
And that call is for everyone
When you live right
There is no wrong death
You can’t die too young or too old
Your life was happy, full and blessed
Only Allah knows how our life will unfold
The when of death
He doesn’t give to man
So we must live each day
Like this is our last
Living Islamically correct
Having learned from our past
Let the life you lived speak for you
Showing you’re connected back to Allah
Doing what He told you too
One day we will all be able to say
Death where is thy pain
And grave where is your defeat
I’ve lived a righteous life
In submission and worship to Allah
My life stands complete

EXPRESS.HIS QUEEN BY HIS SIDE,OUR SISTER WENDY,WAS THE
CAPSTONE TO HIS TIME HERE WITH US IN THIS DIVINE
MOORISH MOVEMENT.

SO MANY HEARTS ARE HEAVY,AND MANY EYES MAY WATER UP,
BUT BEHIND THESE EMOTIONS LET THE THOUGHT OF OUR
BROTHER AND FRIEND ABDULLAH MOHAMMED BEY'S GREAT
CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE MOORISH DIVINE NATIONAL MOVEMENT
PUT A SMILE ON OUR FACE.

AS OUR BROTHER WAS A SERVANT OF ALLAH AND WARRIOR FOR

We rise giving all Praises to our Father God
Allah who is perfect in all things. We humbly
give our highest honors to his love thought
made manifest in the form of a well made man
Jesus in the person of Prophet Drew Ali.
Honors to the Grand Council of Governors who
are the representatives of the Prophet's Grand
Body. We send our honors to the members
of The First City (Baltimore). Honors to whom
honors are due.

We just wanted to reflect for a moment on our
relationship with our
big brother Governor Abdullah Mohammed Bey-
Sheik. We can honestly say that we've never
exchanged a harsh word with the Governor. In
fact the Governor was always a very soft spoken
brother with us. He always carried us in the
best of fashions, even when my phone would
accidentally dial his number at 5:00 am
because I brushed up against the buttons,
which happened quite often because he was
the very first number in there. The brother
always had a smile on his face when we were
together, and the Moor always talked favorably
about his members. He carried them in high
regards.

He was an Administrator, so of course he had
to come down on the members when things
weren't right, but he NEVER dogged them in our
conversations. He LOVED ALL of the members
of Temple #19. He even held up the
founding Cadi of Temple #19 even though he's
(The Former Cadi) no longer
where he needs to be.

We have nothing to say but good words about
the brother. He really struggled with illness
these last few years, but he never quit being a
Moorish American Moslem and his Ministry
funds and dues were always on time! We can't
even say that about ourself.

We will miss our brother. We still love our
brother, for physical death doesn't define love
with us. We know that his pain is over, and that
he has moved on to smoother planes. As a true
Moorish American Moslem we know that as
Allah has surely willed we will see him again.
thus we simply end with the words of Well done
my Moorish brother.

Today we give High Honors to our beloved brother Governor Abdullah
Mohammed Bey. We know that he has served his purpose well. We know this
from his deeds that have manifested in his household, in the state of Baltimore
Temple 19 , the manifestations in the Moorish Nation and in the
individual lives that he has touched with the light of the divine gifts of knowledge,
wisdom, and understanding. Through his transmission of the Holy Breath and
Baptismal of Fire, my family has become pious and faithful and blessed with
the ability to become fruitful and multiply. We give high honors to the Governor
for making Adepts who might be duly
qualified to lead Study Group 9 in NYC according to Act 2 of our Divine
Constitution and Bylaws. We give high honors to our brother a mighty warrior in
the mission to uplift fallen humanity.

PORTION. ALWAYS SPOKE ABOUT THE PROPHET, HE SAID WE WERE DELT

In Islam, we salute the body ,as it only did what the master of the house
wanted it to do, and this body served his master well, to-day we are especially
blessed t0 also salute the master, as in the end of days he too became a
servant of Our Father –God-Allah.
We rise giving all hail, high honors to those of his earthly family Father, Mother,
Brother, Sister and to all his children , we say that your father was a great one,
amongst us { Moorish American Moslems}.
We ourselves came to love this son of heaven, for his dedication to the cause,
of not only uplifting himself .But others as well. As this was his sole cause in
his latter days. And because all human life is built upon the bitter and
sweetness of conditions and events ,they are not all roll up as one, and so
there is the beginning, the middle part and the latter days of Human life No
matter how small a good deed has been it will not go un-reward. It is in the
latter days of human life ,which count the most. As Our Father-Allah is a just
and fair God. And so on this day we all stand to-gather, as one family giving
our high honors and regards to this a Most favor Son of heaven. And I as his
National Grand Sheik salute him whole heartily and say to you all Islam Peace

Sheik Abdullah Mohammed Bey is a man that can be
described by mere words. All of which combined could
not possible give him his proper honors due. Many new
Governor Abdullah as many things however, one of the
most obvious and beautiful attributes was that he has a
beautiful spirit. His love for family, friends and his
Moorish Family were genuine, tried and true.

He gave freely from his heart and spared no expense
especially if it was for the betterment of uplifting of his
fellow man. He took care of his family, his children and
made sure that his life was a living sacrifice.
Governor Abdullah proclaimed his Nationality of
Moorish American in 1978. He shared the words of
Prophet Noble Drew Ali to all that had an ear to hear. His
courage for truth was honorable and respected. He will
truly be missed in the physical but in the spirit we know
that there is no death for the human soul. For as long as
Allah lives, man lives.

He has not left anyone behind but instead he has left a
legacy to be followed, emulated and reproduced. So in
closing we salute our Brother and give him the highest of
honors for completing his mission on this plain. May
Allah be pleased with his good and may he now sail on
smoother seas.
